Between 2022 and the first quarter of 2026:

  • Job titles mentioning AI increased from 264 to 822.
  • The share of job titles referencing AI grew from 2.6% to 8.3%.
  • About 63% of these AI-related job titles are now outside the technology sector.

While software engineering remains a major area for AI hiring, employers are increasingly seeking AI skills in fields such as:
